Cookie Policy
This is an informative translation of a document governed by Spanish law. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail. This Cookie Policy explains what storage technologies the Site uses, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and with the GDPR.
2. Technologies used on this Site
The Site does not use tracking, advertising or social media cookies. It only uses browser local storage (localStorage), of a technical and first-party nature, for the following purposes:
- Remembering the visual theme preference (light or dark) chosen by the user.
- Remembering the cookie/storage consent preference indicated by the user in the corresponding banner.
- Maintaining technical session indicators (session hints) that allow the interface to recognize, on the browser side, whether a session is active, without replacing the secure session management performed by Auth.js on the server.
None of these elements is strictly a cookie: they are localStorage entries, are not automatically sent to the server with each request, do not contain advertising identifiers and are not shared with third parties.
3. Detail of local storage elements
The following is a detailed list of the local storage elements used by the Site:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| theme-preference | LATENT (first party) | Remember whether the user prefers the light or dark visual theme of the interface. | Persistent, until the user manually deletes it or clears browser data. | Technical / necessary | Legitimate interest and technical necessity (artículo 22.2 LSSI-CE, strictly necessary cookies exemption). |
| cookie-consent | LATENT (first party) | Remember the user's decision regarding the cookie/local storage banner so it is not shown again on each visit. | Persistent, until the user manually deletes it or clears browser data. | Technical / necessary | Technical necessity for compliance with the duty of disclosure (artículo 22.2 LSSI-CE). |
| session-hint | LATENT (first party) | Indicate to the interface, on the browser side, whether a user session is active, to display the correct interface state before confirming the session with the server. | Linked to the duration of the authentication session managed by Auth.js. | Technical / necessary | Strictly necessary technical requirement for the provision of the requested service (artículo 22.2 LSSI-CE). |
4. Plausible Analytics
The Site uses Plausible Analytics, a web analytics tool that does not use cookies or any other storage technology in the user's browser. Plausible calculates aggregated and anonymous statistics (for example, number of visits or most viewed pages) without generating individual identifiers or tracking the user across websites or between visits. For this reason, and in accordance with the criteria of data protection authorities regarding analytics tools without cookies and without individualized tracking, its use does not require prior user consent.
5. Vercel Speed Insights
The Site uses Vercel Speed Insights to measure technical performance metrics (for example, load times). This tool does not use cookies or store identifiers in the user's browser, and does not collect data that allows individual identification of users.
6. How to manage browser local storage
The user may delete browser local storage (localStorage) at any time through the browser's privacy settings, usually in the "Site data" or "Storage" section. Doing so will cause the Site to forget the theme and consent preferences, and it will display the corresponding banner again on the next visit.
